Obituary for Hisa Miya

MIYAGISHIMA, HISAMI (88), more commonly known as Hisa Miya, born in Layton, Utah on June 28, 1926, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2015. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Nancy Miya; siblings, Hanako Ito, Kiku Takeda, and Masa, Kazu and Tomio Miya; and is survived by his children, Vickie (Ron) Nakagawa and Kirk (Kathy) Miya; grandchildren, Nolan and Carl Miya, and Brooke and Courtney Nakagawa; sister, Fumiko Matsumoto; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Dr., Culver City, CA. 

Note: Flower orders for Hisa Miya must have been made at least 48 hours before the service time.

We　are Toshihiko and Yoko Fujimori. We live in Osaka. The last time when we visited L.A., it was about 15 years ago, Hisa and Nancy were very kind to us. We never forget their kindness.
