Obituary for Kenichi Muranaga
MURANAGA, KENICHI “Ken” (84), WWII veteran who served with the 100th Inf. Bn/442 RCT passed away on May 3, 2009 in Las Vegas, NV. He is survived by his wife, Yoshiko; their son, Mark (Leti); grandsons Derek (Grace), Michael, and Matthew; granddaughter Kristen; great grandchildren Kaila and Devin; brother Tomi Muranaga; sisters Sally Hamamoto, Susie Fujimoto, Hiro Torii, Terrie Suyemoto (Al), and Reiko Nakagawa; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at 4:00PM at the San Fernando Valley Holiness Church, 9610 Haddon Ave., Pacoima, CA. Family requests that flowers be omitted and casual attire.
