HAGEMU “JOHN” TAKEDA

 

A funeral service for Hagemu “John” Takeda, 90 year-old, Fukui, Japan born Issei, who passed away on January 16, 2016 in Torrance, will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 3:00PM at Zenshuji Soto Mission, 123 S. Hewitt St., L.A.  (213) 749-1449 www.kubotanikkeimortuary.com

 

He is survived by his wife, Kazuko Takeda; children, Denny (Elizabeth) Takeda of Oregon, and Nancy (Rodney) Nakamoto of Arizona; grandchildren, Michelle, Amy, Jane and Eric; sisters, Mary Tahara, Rose (Bob) Furukawa, Dorothy Matsune, all of Canada, and Kazuko (Shoji) Akutagawa of San Mateo, CA; sister-in-law, Kishie Takeda; brother-in-law, Sam Matsushita; and also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
