Obituary for Bruce Katsuichi Hisayasu

HISAYASU, BRUCE KATSUICHI (94) passed away on June 13, 2016 in Pasadena.  He is survived by his wife, Yaeko Hisayasu; children, Toru (Diane) and Makoto Hisayasu, Dawn (Dr. Wesley) Naritoku; grandchildren, Keri (Tom) Webb, Staci Hisayasu, Jonathan and Alyssa Naritoku; brother, Etsuo Hisayasu; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at 11:00AM at Pasadena Buddhist Temple, 1993 Glen Ave., Pasadena, CA. Family requests flowers to be omitted.

Dear Hisayasu family,
To Yeako and Family. Just heard about Bruce’s passing. My sincerest condolences to all. I knew Bruce through the Descanso Bonsai Society.
I loved Bruce and Yeako coming to the meetings and their kindness to a novice bonsai lover. I will remember Bruce always. He made me feel welcome to the bonsai world. Thank you;
