Obituary for Kimi Kimura

KIMURA, KIMI (96) peacefully passed away on June 19, 2016 in Los Angeles.  She is predeceased by her husband, James Shigeo Kimura, and survived by her daughters, Diane (Mike) Yamano and Edith Chaplin; grandchildren, Jane (Stan Nakagawa) Yamano, Tina (David) Nishida, James Maruki; great-grandchildren, Akemi Maruki, James, Brandon, Mark and Ryan Nishida, and Mia Yamano; sisters, Pauline Nakagawa, Jean Fukumoto, Grace Deguchi, and Sumi (Paul) Endow; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in the U.S. and Japan.

A private graveside service was held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Gary Oba from West LA United Methodist officiating
