Obituary for Shigemitsu Ishii

ISHII, SHIGEMITSU (85) passed away on September 27, 2009 in Marina Del Rey.  He is survived by his wife, Kimi Ishii; children, Gary (Lisabeth) and Ron Ishii; brother, Harumitsu “Harney” Ishii;  also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

 

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 11:00AM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary with Rev. Fumiaki Usuki of West LA Buddhist Temple officiating.  The family requests that flowers be omitted.

Note: Flower orders for the service of Shigemitsu Ishii have been requested to be omitted.

Ron,
Neil and I are so sorry to read about the passing of your father. I know how close you were to him, to your parents, and what a good son you were to them. We now live in Laguna Woods (Orange County) near my mom, so we now can also enjoy close proximity to a parent. There is so much wisdom handed down from our parents.
