Obituary for George Ujiiye

UJIIYE, GEORGE ISAMU (84) passed away on November 30, 2009 in Torrance.  He is survived by his wife, Kathy Ujiiye; loving daughter, Diane Michiko Ujiiye; grandson, Shea Ichiro Matarazzo; brothers, Frank (Laura), Bill Susumu, Akira (Kyoko) Ujiiye the last from Tokyo, Japan; sister, Marie (Calvin) Tajima; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at 11:00AM at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158thStreet, Gardena, CA.  Family requests that flowers be omitted.

How sadden I was to hear about Isamu’s passing. He was such a gentle & friendly man. You & Isamu were the perfect ’dancing’ couple. He will be missed.
