Obituary for Hidemi Kamikawa

KAMIKAWA, HIDEMI (96) passed away on April 24, 2010 in Inglewood.  She is survived by her children, Hiroko Frances (Gunichi) Kawamoto, Setsuko Jeanne and JoAnn Kamikawa;  daughters-in-law, Keiko Kamikawa and Haruko Kamikawa the latter of Japan; Grandchildren, Jeffrey (Maria) Kawamoto, Cheryl (Eric) Cotte, Karen (Rodney) Wakasa, Linda (Patrick) Murata, Jon (Emely) Kamikawa, and Amy Kamikawa; great-grandchildren, Emiko and Kiyomi Kawamoto, Marissa and Alison Cotte, Hunter Wakasa, Samantha and Lauryn Murata, and Melia Kamikawa; sisters, Sawako Tarutani, Chisako (Minoru) Tanaka, Yaeko (Tatsuo) Hashimoto, Mikiko Sumida all of Japan, sisters-in-law, Rushie and Miyuki Shimohara, the latter from Japan, brothers-in-law Bill Nishimura and Kun (Sachiye) Kamikawa of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

A funeral service will be held under the auspices of Gardena BWA on Monday, May 3, 2010 at 7:30PM at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W 166th St., Gardena, CA.
