christine uchida fukunaga October 26, 2010, 9:42 AM | Dear Pat and family: It is with deepest sorrow to learn of Weeshs passing. He embodied a man so strong, so healthy, so kind and so fun and funny. I have known him for as long as I can remember, seeing and visiting him almost daily while he was working on Western and 37th in the 1950s when I was growing up. I will always remember your visit to Washington DC, when we were living in Virginia in the 1980s and the call you both made--just to say hello. His laugh will be a lasting memory. May you and your family be blessed, especially during this sad time. Much love and many prayers, tina uchida fukunaga |
