Obituary for Frank Seishi Emi

EMI, FRANK SEISHI (94) passed away on December 1, 2010 in West Covina.  He is predeceased by his son, Grant Emi; survived by his wife, Itsuko Emi; children, Kathleen (James Srott) Ito of Camarillo, CA, Eileen (Raymond) Tabuchi, Rie (Mamoru) Nishikawa; many grandchildren; sister, Kaoru Sugita; daughter-in-law, Noel Emi; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Japan and USA.

 

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:00AM at Nichiren Buddhist Temple, 2810 E. 4th St., LA.  

Note: Flower orders for Frank Seishi Emi must have been made at least 48 hours before the service time.

Mr. Frank Emi was a great leader. The Japanese American community must keep Frank Emi’s memory alive to continue to lead the way. His acts of courage to speak truth to power will always shine brightly, especially in these dark times that we live in.
