Obituary for Viola Yoshiko Kawahara

KAWAHARA, VIOLA YOSHIKO (89) passed away on December 5, 2010 in San Gabriel. She is survived by her husband, Takashi Kawahara; children, Sheldon (Nomi), James (Leslie), Paul (Randi) Kawahara, Holly (Alan) Etmund, Sheri (David) Fisher and Barbara Arita; siblings, Sho (Dorothy), Jerry (Dorothy) Ishino, Chiyo (Hiro) Kikkawa, Seiko (Rocky) Shimatsu, Kiyome (Chanki) Khim and Kimiko (Tony) Contreras; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.


A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00-3:00PM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., LA.  
Note: Flower orders for the service of Viola Yoshiko Kawahara have been requested to be omitted.

I was very sad to hear of Vi’s passing. My heart goes out to each member of the Kawahara family. She was a loving mother who was always so sweet and pleasant. I know she was dearly loved by all her children and by Toki her devoted husband. . I think she is dancing in heaven now,
