I would like to express my sympathies to Hisaye’s family on behalf of my aunt, Michiko Moringaga. My aunt is presently not in the best of health and suffers from severe dementia, but I am sure, if she was able, she would be giving her condolences. My aunt would often tell me about Hisaye and what great friends they were. I believe they both worked for the county and were friends for over 50 years. I know they went to Las Vegas together and until my aunt’s dementia got so bad, they would at least talk to each other every day. I myself spoke with Hisaye because I know she was interested in how my aunt was doing. I always appreciated her asking. Once again, please accept our most sincere sympathies.
