Obituary for Esther Fumiko Kumasaka

KUMASAKA, ESTHER FUMIKO at the age of 82 passed away on November 5, 2011 in Huntington Beach.  She is survived by her husband, Robert Kumasaka, and her children, Dean (Mercedes) Kumasaka of Seattle, WA, Eltheia (Gerry) Shiozaki of Los Angeles, CA, and Sara Mikiko Kumasaka of Salt Lake City, UT; grandchildren, Wesley and Jason Shiozaki; siblings from Japan, Shoichi (Masako) Matsuda, Michiko (Eisuke) Fukushima, Misao Yanagihara, Midori (Naohide) Kohdate, and Koji (Matsue) Matsuda; sister-in-law, Yaeko Kasahara; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 1:00PM at Wintersburg Presbyterian Church, 2000 N. Fairview St., Santa Ana.

Note: Flower orders for Esther Fumiko Kumasaka must have been made at least 48 hours before the service time.

I also just heard of the loss of your Mom! She (all of you) always made me feel like a part of the family... and without all of you, I would not know about our Lord, Jesus! I will be praying for you in this time of sorrow, and rejoicing for her, because we know she is in the presence of the Lord!
