I was a friend of Teena’s at Westchester H.S. and am so saddened and shocked to learn of her passing. I went to Sonoma State College after high school and she and a friend drove up and stayed with me once. I also went over to your home for a wonderful Japanese dinner and then wrote a college paper on the experience. I ended up living in Japan for a total of eight years in Sapporo, Osaka and Kanazawa and two of my four children were born in Japan. I now live in the Seattle area and teach Japanese language in a high school. Teena was so friendly and adorable in high school and I will never forget her. Love to all of you. ~Kati Peters
