Obituary for Deric Higashi

HIGASHI, DERIC (41) passed away on March 22, 2012 in Los Angeles.  He is survived by his daughter, Dominique Higashi; mother, Margaret Higashi; siblings, Lisa, Kelly (Judy), and Ali Ann Higashi; also survived by many relatives.

 

A funeral mass was held on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Chapel, formally known as Maryknoll.

It’s hard to believe you are gone dad. All my life I always thought you were indestructible. I am happy that I got the opportunity to see you before you went. It wasn’t what I wanted to see but I am thankful that you held on until I got there. I am glad I made peace with you and you went easy. Although me and you did not have the best relationship I loved you.
