My sincere condolences to the Hisatomi family.
Kune was a wonderful, kind and loyal friend to my family.
Kune and Kimi used to take me to the Dodger games on Saturday nights at the Coliseum and later, Dodger Stadium in the early 60’s.
I’ll always remember their pet bird Ozzie.

Kune was like my uncle when I was growing up in L.A. He and his wife Kimie were very close friends of my parents. I will never forget there loyalty and dedication to my Dad and Mom. When she had a cerebral hemmorage in 1976, Kune was my Dad"s best friend and Kimie help see our family through her return.
He will always be in my heart as a proud 442 and veteran of this country. When he said goodbye to my Dad at his funeral, he saluted the flag... Rest in Peace Kune, your are now reunited with your beloved wife and those who have gone on before you. Thanks for all the dinners, baseball games and your humor.
Love, Bill Mayeda
