Dear family of Dr. Yamane,
How very sad I was to read about Hideo’s passing. What a wonderful and kind man! I worked for him many, many Saturdays’ when I first got out of hygiene school. Even though it was on Saturday we always had a good time. I was for UCLA and he was for USC and the rivalry was intense. When we could not be present for the games or when we were at work we always had fun. He was such a great dentist and all around good guy. Even though I have moved away from the South Bay area and pass by the building his office was in I get a twinge of nostalgia for the "good old days”. He was so good at what he did. I was proud to refer patients to him and work with him. I can still see him getting behind the wheel of that beautiful classic Porsche and driving away down Crenshaw. That is the way I wish to remember him. May he rest in the arms of the angels......He will be missed!
Sincerely,
Mary Deakers-Stark

To the Yamane Family-

I wanted to send a message your way- I was just told of the loss you have had. I was so sad to hear that the world has lost this wonderful man. I can hear his laugh now. Dr. Yamane was so kind to me, and I will always remember him as well as
Dr. Akemi. I send much love and hugs. He was one of a kind. I loved working for the both of you.

With warm regards, Carol Stratton
