Obituary for Manabu Takade
Takade, Manabu (65), Vietnam war veteran passed away suddenly August 23, 2013 at Los Verdes Gold Course. Born in Wakayama, Japan to parents Sakuichi and Yasue Takade (both predeceased).
He is survived by his wife, Linda Takade; children, Darrin, Mitchell, and Scotty Takade; siblings, Etsuo Takade and Masako (James) Ido; brother-in-law, Paul Shintol nieces, Jamie Ann and Krystina Ido, and Tiffany Takade; also survived by other relatives both here and in Japan.
A funeral service will be held Friday, September 13, 2013 at 7PM at the Memorial Chapel of Kubota Nikkei Mortuary, 911 Venice Blvd., LA with Rev. John Iwohara from Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating. The family kindly requests casual or golf attire.![]() |

I first met him 30+ yrs. ago when we bowled on the same bowling team. He will be remembered for his warm smile and kind heart. My most deepest sympathy and condolences. |

Until I left LA in 2006, we played so many enjoyable rounds of golf together. And he was all the time my Sensei. He always helped me to find my missing balls but he had never allowed me to beat him. I enjoyed all the times his Father took us fishing when I was a teenager. One of my best times in Yellowstone was spent fishing with Manabu. My condolences to all of your family. Gary Thomas |
