Miyashiro family,

I was fortunate enough to have met Stan in the late 60’s where he played basketball on our NAU A+ basketball team for one season. He was a excellent player, but more importantly a very nice person. I only knew him for that one season, however I have always remembered him to be a great guy. I just happened to read the LA Times obituary this morning (Tuesday 17DEC13) and was shocked to see his name and read that he had passed away. To all his family members, your lives have been surely enriched in having Stanley being a keystone of your family.

Sincerely yours and deep regrets,
Russell Tad ukita
