Obituary for Fumiko Kitagawa

KITAGAWA, Fumiko (96), born May 20, 1918 in Monterey Park, CA, raised in Mieken, Japan, long-time resident of Torrance and 5 year resident at Keiro Retirement Home passed away on August 24, 2014. She is pre-deceased by her husband, Kazumasa Frank, son-in-law, Robert Kato, brother, Shigeo Takigawa; and is survived by her 5 children: Victor (Lillian) Kitagawa, Amy Kato, Jane (Ed) Ryono, Walter (May) Kitagawa, and JoAnn (Terry) Read; brothers, Yoshio (Mieko) and Masakazu (Utako) Takigawa; sisters-in-law, Nobuko Takigawa and Eiko Kitagawa; 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00AM at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, 27501 S. Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes.
Note: Flower orders for Fumiko Kitagawa must have been made at least 48 hours before the service time.
