I am so sorry to learn of Frank’s passing. We worked together at Union Bank and stayed in touch after our respective retirements. Frank was a fine gentleman. I never heard one complaint or grouchy comment from him. When I was a new employee at the bank, Frank took me under his wing and taught me the ropes and nuances of banking and of working for a Japanese-owned company. Frank and I shared a love of dogs and often exchanged anecdotes about our four-legged friends. I offer my sincere condolences to the Hirata family, and please know that I am grateful to have known Frank.

Frank, my dear friend of years past. Just now finding you have left this realm and returned Home.
We grieve because we love ... and love IS forever.

I remember always laughing with you no matter what our problems might have been. You helped my daughter with her science project and we laughed because she didn’t get an A! You taught me to take my shoes off at yours and Pat’s home and look at me now, Frank, I live in Washington and make everyone take their shoes off!

My love to you Pat and your family. Frank, your’re not gone... you are just away.
