I was looking up old friends and saw that Taro had passed away. We were friends at Long Beach State while we were in the teacher education program.

I left Long Beach to attend Chapman College and we lost touch. I taught and was a school principal in the Huntington Beach area. I retired as a school superintendent in Santa Barbara County.

I was saddened by the news and our thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
